Escape from Alcatraz my swim back from Alcatraz during one of the most extreme tides.
This is a video from my swim back from Alcatraz on 10/14/12. This day had one of the most extreme tide swings of the year. The tide rising turns the bay into a river as you will see in the video. It was done at one of the worst times of the day while the current was pushing very strong into the bay. You will see when I get to shore that Alcatraz is on the side of me instead of being behind me. I almost missed the mainland. I call this my Philippians 4:13 swim.
