Meet The World’s Fastest Backwards Runner Aaron Yoder. Aaron Yoder from Lindsborg, Kansas is the world’s fastest backwards runner. In college he got really bad arthritis in his knee and was told he could never run again. Not being able to run was devisting for him so he decided to run backwards like he did as a kid. Aaron Yoder has gone on to break several world records and his fasted backwards mile was a time of 5:30.
