Hostility towards ANC leadership at COSATU Congress

ANC national chairperson Gwede Mantashe was booed off the stage at Cosatu's 14th elective congress held in Midrand on September 26, 2022. Mantashe went to deliver the ANC's message of support accompanied by ANC national executive members Mmamaloko Kubayi and Lindiwe Zulu. The delegates are adamant that the ANC must account for what is happening in the country, including the government's current 3% wage increase offer which the COSATU delegates believe is insufficient.
