309 Lo, We Have Left All (Luke 18:28-30) 2 of 2

In our study, Peter hears the conversation between Jesus and the certain ruler about what to do to inherit eternal life. The disciples listening respond with the question, "Who then can be save?" to which Jesus says that though impossible for men it is possible with God (through faith by new birth). Peter then goes back to the question of leaving all with his own question in the form of a statement, "Lo, we have left all, and followed thee."
