Introduction and Timeline

The book of Revelation opens with an appeal for all to read, hear, and head the things which are written in it. The reason given for this appeal is, “for the time is near.”
In Matthew 24:3 the disciples asked Christ “What will be the sign of your coming, and the end of the age?” Jesus lists some signs in the verse that follow. Even a casual reading of these verses leads you to the conclusion, “The Time is Near” or maybe even upon us!
