Abundant Life: Engaging the Local Church to Support Adoption with Beth Burns & Ezechiel Bambolo, Jr.

What if in the post "Roe v. Wade" era, every pre-born and newborn baby was ensured a loving home? On today’s edition of Family Talk, our own Dr. Tim Clinton visits with two leaders committed to that dream. Zeke Bambolo and Beth Burns could not come from more diverse backgrounds. Beth ministers to churches to encourage and mobilize them to advocate for the sanctity of all human life through the non-profit organization, Abundant Life, while Zeke works beside her pairing babies to their forever home with Antioch Adoptions.

About Today's Guests: Beth Burns and Ezechiel "Zeke" Bambolo
Beth Burns serves as the executive director of Abundant Life, a non-profit organization that focuses on advancing gospel-centered, life-affirming work in the Pacific Northwest. Since 2016, Beth has worked within this organization, translating her passion for the sanctity of life and the unity of the Body of Christ into tangible service. Beth is deeply in love with her husband Jared, and they have been blessed with three children that fill their home with joy.

Ezechiel “Zeke” Bambolo, Jr. serves as the executive director of Antioch Adoptions, a non-profit Christian agency in Washington State with the goal of making family a reality for every foster child currently on the path to adoption. He was born in Liberia, West Africa and came to the United States in 1991 as the result of a civil war in the country. Despite the social and emotional trials caused by war, he became a successful collegiate athlete and student. As a firstborn son, Zeke accepted the challenge given by his father to embrace God’s biblical instructions for this role. Ezekiel restored his family from destruction and chaos to peace and unity. He is the founder of Family Legacy Builders, where he trains families and high risk youth about the importance of Bible-based family legacy. He authored a book entitled Firstborn Son: A Curse, a Gift, or a Calling which focuses on Liberian culture, civil war, and restoration of family. Zeke is happily married to his college sweetheart and together they are raising their two precious children in Bothell, Washington.
