Surgically Removing a Storm Damaged Canopy Limb

On Friday I got the broken limb I had secured sectioned apart and safely down.

I used my little swing, roll and drop trick on the first chunk to avoid my green climbing line below and to keep from having to go down and untie it, only to turn around and biff the green line anyway, I was overheated at the end there and thought it was on the other side still and ended up dropping the last chunk on it.

The tree is ready for ground fall on Monday.
