I am speaking in my capacity as a private citizen, and not in my capacity as a board member. These statements are also not representative of the board or its individual members.

HOW TO SEE WHAT'S IN YOUR SCHOOL'S LIBRARY - This is Riverdale. Look for yourself and Get involved. See what is at our children's fingertips in the school library and on their ipads/chromebooks. SEX, mental health, Tell me about SEX Grandma. This is NOT 1 or 2 books. This is overwhelming resources for kids to explore sex, gender, mental health, etc, etc. Are our schools now going to counsel our kids through videos and resources? I can't believe this, but the last Riverdale video in 8th grade SEL encouraged our kids to rebel and be playful deviants with an example of cutting work and tucking a flask into your pocketbook. I've also noticed that there are books in this catalog that are age appropriate for 15, 16 and 18 plus. Our school goes up to 8th grade which is normally 13. There's also videos encouraging the kids to get vaccinated.

Please sign the RIVERDALE PETITION to Create a resolution to oppose 2020 NJSLS Comp. Health & Phys Ed Curriculum - The Board has not yet passed the Health Curriculum. 8th grade will have 3 classes 40 minute lessons on each of the following: sexting, sexual abuse and gender. The health curriculum scope will be approved in October. The NJ Standards discuss pregnancy options without the stress of abstinence. If you have a high schooler, our children are encouraged to speak to a "trusted adult" if they become pregnant and can be assisted in getting an abortion without your knowledge.
