Ep #519 - The Tragedy of Sandra Birchmore and the Stoughton Police Department

Sandra Birchmore's short life was a tragedy. Her mother, aunt, and grandmother who raised her all died around the same time. Her crutch for emotional support was the Stoughton Police Department, and she joined the cadet program run by officers Robert Devine and Matt Farwell in high school. But they were both predators who saw her vulnerability and realized she could be used as a tool for sexual pleasure. They then passed her along to Farwell's twin brother, also a cop. At least one of them allegedly had sex with her when she was 15. But when she became pregnant in early 2021 her body was no longer useful to them, and and they all distanced themselves from her. She felt alone and abandoned, traumatized from all the deaths in her life. She realized she didn't have a support system and didn't want to live in a world where her child grew up without a father, as these 3 officers walked around town like well respected family men and cops. So she killed herself. And a fourth officer who knew all about it got a job as a school resource officer in Abington.
