Good question.

Yes, but it will require some additional steps. You would need the general partner that is syndicating the purchase to agree to let you come in as a tenant in a common investor (TIC) instead of a simple limited partner.

Most general partners don’t want to do this if the amount of money you are placing is some smaller amount like 100,000 but if you are talking about 500,000 to 1,000,000, then, yes, this can be a good option.
