Are demonstrations rather pointless in 2022?

Are demonstrations rather pointless in 2022?

I forgot my recording thing, so had to record on my iPhone.

So today I ask, are demonstrations any use in 2022, when we seem to have a few each day?

Of course many who go, clearly go to be filmed or to film for social media.

Some people today (often on the left) now seem to desperately go to any demonstration they can in order to be seen as a wonderful person.

But do demonstrations do anything?

In truth I suspect not.

Most people probably have any interest in your demonstration, even if they agree with the demonstration.

I would also claim strikes too are a form of demonstration, done by unions who in my opinion are businesses, often run by union people on huge wages (some are on £200k or more).

One thought, is would Labour MP’s be advertising unions as much as they do if Labour did not get money from unions? One should question who Labour MP’s represent. The public or those businesses (Unions) that fund Labour. One wonders if Labour MP’s would go to the strikes if Unions stopped handing over cash to Labour.

In recent years some demonstrators sit in front of cars. Now I am into green stuff, but I do not support them. And if I do not, then one suspects they have little support, and in fact probably turn people off green issues. Not to mention the pollution from the cars as they sit with engines running for hours until these people feel it is time to move. Of course people may be taking people to hospital or pets to the vet, and they may end up dying, but this matters not to the smug self-righteous people as it is up to them if they feel you deserve to be on your way or not.

Should your relative or pet die, be happy in the knowledge these people at least achieved there aim of getting a pic or vid on social media.
