Aluminum knife handles

Hello everyone👋🏻.

This week I’ve melted aluminum to make handles for my knife.
I use this knife mainly for stripping copper, cutting cardboard and stuff..

I was bored with the orange plastic so I decided to cast a new one.
I chose aluminum because it looks cool😃.
Maybe next time ill get bored with it, ill make it out of something else.
Brass or nordic gold🤔.

Or I let you decide when the times come😉.

The cast went good, it was a little bit difficult to make the mold with the little holes.
The holes didn’t come out completely, so I drilled them but a little to big.

With the result, not all the pieces would fit back in..
But it works, and it’s safe to use so I don’t complain😉.
