Prayer of Saint Alphonsus to the Virgin Mary

Most Holy Immaculate Virgin, my Mother Mary,
to you who are the Mother of my Lord,
the Queen of the Universe, the Lawyer,
hope, the refuge of sinners.

I, who am the most miserable of all sinners, have recourse to you.
I worship you, Great Queen,
and I thank him for the many graces he has bestowed on me until today.

I love you, my dear Lady;
and because of that love, I promise to serve you willingly
forever and do what you can
to make her loved by other people too.

I place all my hopes of salvation in you;
accept me as your servant and shelter me under your mantle,
you who are the Mother of Mercy.

Free me from all temptations,
or at least get it for me
the strength to beat them to death.

From you I implore a true love for Jesus Christ.
Through you, I hope to die a holy death.

My dear Mother, for your love to Almighty God,
I beg you to help me always,
but especially at the last moment of my life.
