Hurricane Ian brought destruction and devastation to Florida. Residents who chose to ride out the storm could only watch in horror as their homes were destroyed. Meteorologist Rob Guarino's apartment building swayed as he rode out the hurricane. News crews covering the storm also turned into heroes. An Australian cameraman put down his camera to help a family escape the flood. Another reporter rescued a woman trapped in her car by carrying her to safety on his back.
