Ukraine Destroys Wagner HQ In Popasna With HIMARS - Learned About Location Threw Russian Media Photo

WAGNER Group was struck by Ukrainian HIMARS after a base's location in Popasna was revealed by a Russian war correspondent, according to reports.

According to Ukrainian media outlet Hromadske, Russian Telegram channels have shared photos of the aftermath of an attack at a Wagner mercenary base in Popasna in eastern Luhansk . The photos show injured and dead Wagner soldiers being taken out from under the rubble as well as the destruction of the building. The official number of injured and deceased has not been confirmed, but reports said nearly 100 KIA.

Ukraine became aware of the base's location after Russian war correspondent Serhiy Sreda came to the base on August 8, according to the Hromadske report.

Sreda inadvertently doxed the location by posting pictures to Telegram of Wagner fighters in front of a building and labeled it headquarters with an address directly pictured on the building. So much for geo locating when you have the address on the building. Thanks Russian media for the assist.
