Today's Question: Is Jesus Capable of Violence?

Someone told me a few weeks ago that you can’t call yourself a peaceful person if you’re not capable of violence. I was told this when I said I don’t have the right temperament for owning a gun; you don’t give a suicidal and short-tempered person a weapon like a gun. It's just begging for trouble. I think that the statement is wrong, and I looked at Jesus for my answer. He was the epitome of a peaceful person. He never threw a punch in his life. Nor did He resort to any violence as far as I know. Yet in the garden when He was arrested he said do you not realize I could have 12 legions of angels here if I wanted? So He was saying if I wanted to use force to solve my problems it would be all too easy. But He didn’t. So the question stands. Was Jesus Quote "Capable of violence?" even though He was a peaceful man? Personally I think He wasn’t capable of it, but He made it plain as day that He could be a ruthless conqueror if He really wanted to. But that is not who He is. What does the bible say? and what does everyone else think?
