Washington Mutual reorganized and became WMIH. They eventually acquired Nationstar Mortgage and then changed the name to Mr. Cooper Group (COOP). After all these years, shareholders of Wamu, now COOP, are still feeling the pain from the unjust seizure of Washington Mutual.
