Interview 316 with Lori Root

Lori Root grew up in a family of 8 in Houston Texas where she still lives. Most blessed by 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Began her nursing career in 1989 at Texas Children's hospital. She has been a dialysis nurse since 1996 and trains people to dialyze themselves at home. Helping others lives continue is her career. The end point of life is death and so Lori has witnessed, cared for, and held the hands of the dying many times. Life is meant to be a rich experience of happiness, sadness, and everything in between. Awareness and conscious living are the goals of each moment.
Grateful and happy to have lived this life 62 years.
