HOW TO DISCERN A FALSE FROM A TRUE PROPHET

Matthew 7:15, 20 King James Version
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

LISTEN TO AND LOOK FOR THEIR FRUIT!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

Well, we were without power since about 3:00 this morning, but as of 9:45AM it came back on! We are in the midst of experiencing the remnants of Ian, I think that's what we especially went through in the middle of the night which caused the power outage, but I am so very grateful for the fact that God kept us safe, we didn't have any flooding, and my CPAP machine still kept going. Praise God for that battery!

I very much needed this morning's passage of scripture because there are many false prophets out there. I needed to be reminded that there are individuals out there, who are wolves in sheep’s clothing, who not only deceive, but outright lie to get their way, and we very much need to be on guard against them. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional were so incredibly encouraging, as well as challenging and motivating to me. They brought back some very intense memories, but I praise God then as I think about those memories, they're under the blood of Jesus, and they don't affect me the way they used to. please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge you through them too.

When have you met a wolf in sheep’s clothing?

Apply the “look for the fruit” test to that experience and now what do you see?

What I'd like to do right now guys, is share some things that God has shown me from his word on this very issue, through this vlog tonight, and I pray that it will encourage, motivate, and cause you to seek God's discernment with any individual you encounter, especially someone who claims to speak for Jesus. Come join me in this vlog and learn how to with God's help, see through and avoid false prophets, and those with bad fruit! 😊

My prayer for all of you, as I close this post tonight, is that you seek God every day for wisdom and discernment, so that you can truly see and know just who a true follower of Jesus is, and who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. That you will ask God every day, for open eyes and ears to look and listen for the good fruit in that person. To examine their actions as well as their words very carefully, so that you can know for certain just Who this person has their allegiance with. I especially pray that if you’re encountering someone who is teaching things that you know aren't in God's Word, and/or if you suspect them of any criminal activity, that you take the appropriate action, and have them removed from your church! Don't let a false prophet, a wolf in sheep’s clothing deceive you, but be on guard against them, so that they don't poison your church, and most of all that they don't poison you! 😊
