Lela Crabtree Memorial Service

Lela K. Crabtree age 80 of Grove City, Ohio passed away September 22, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Minford, Ohio, on September 29, 1941, to the late Harve and Metta (Lowder) Burchett. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald L. Crabtree; children Donald T. (Margo) Crabtree, Mary (Gary) Morbitzer, Leta (Bob) Wolfinger, Grandchildren Nicholas Morbitzer, Jonathan (Jennifer) Morbitzer, Chasity (Robert) Zeehandelar, Benjamin (Lindsey) Morbitzer, Harve Crabtree, Amelia Crabtree, Austin Wolfinger, Reece Wolfinger, Great Grandchildren, Hannah, Madeline, Lucas, Anneliese, Grady and Solomon; siblings Harold (Karen) Burchett, Janice (Howard) Conley, John (Martha) Burchett, Thomas (Joyce) Burchett, Sandra Burchett Riley, Joseph (Debbie) Burchett, Lavinia (Mark) Lewis and Daniel (Helen) Burchett. Preceded in death by brother-n-law Howard Conley and sister-n-law Martha Burchett. She is also survived by numerous extended family members as well as countless friends whose lives she has touched. Lela was a retired school bus driver from South-Western City Schools over 26 years who loved hauling students to and from school and sporting events. Lela had a passion to research family genealogy. She had a love for photography which allowed her to capture her life: family, friends and reunions. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed quilting with her children and grandchildren. She very much enjoyed being a grandmother and GG to all her babies. Viewing at Central Baptist Church 1955 Frank Road, Columbus, Ohio 43223, Saturday, October 1, 2022, 10:00 am–12:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Tim Womack officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery. Arrangements completed with THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME Grove City.
