After two and a half years of border restrictions, Canada has dropped all COVID-19 border and travel measures today, including requiring use of the ArriveCAN app and providing proof of vaccination. The country previously had Covid-related restrictions since March 16th, 2020.

The move leaves the United States as the only North American country requiring proof of vaccination for non-U.S. individuals at border crossings, a policy in place since January 22nd, 2022.
