"Dirty Laundry", (Jeremiah 13:1-27), 2022-10-02, Longbranch Community Church

Who, but Pastor John could build an entire sermon – and a great one at that – on …dirty laundry? His message was taken straight from God’s Word (Jeremiah 13:1-27). Just one of the great points made was the fact that God directed the writing of this particular chapter as a vivid illustration of just how tremendously his chosen people had disappointed him.

In addition to a today’s great sermon, Ms. Barbara’s talented hands danced soulfully over the ivories as we joyfully sang some truly wonderful olde fashioned hymns. We capped the morning by celebrating The Lord’s Supper. Today’s after church fellowship was a wonder as well; seems “many” contributed their culinary talent to a genuinely warm celebration of “heartfelt family time”.
