Meet Madison Klovstad Miner School Board Candidate Orange Unified School District.

Madison Klovstad Miner has been an Orange and Villa Park resident since birth. She attended Salem Elementary, Panorama Elementary, Santiago Charter Middle School, and graduated from El Modena High School, where she was a four-year star athlete, and captain on the Vanguard Varsity Soccer Team as well as Varsity Track, where she still holds a high hurdle record.

Madison began her professional soccer career playing in the Paulista Women’s Soccer Tournament - Brazil, where her hard work culminated in a National Championship for her team, Santos FC.

After her professional athletic career, Madison pursued post-graduate education and earned a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Communicative Disorders from Cal State University - Fullerton. Her area of clinical interest was in speech language pathology, which led to her earning an SLPA License from Cal State University - Northridge.

In 2010, Madison met and married her wonderful husband, Jason. They have four children and reside in Villa Park, where Madison is an educator in and around the city of Orange, a former speech-language pathology assistant for Santa Ana Unified School District, and an OC Board of Education certified CLASS observer. 

Madison believes in serving the community and is heavily involved in volunteer work. Her past career as a professional athlete lends itself to her many coaching positions for children ranging from recreational to club soccer levels.
 
Never afraid to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty, she's volunteered for school beautification projects both inside and outside the classroom. Her charity work extends to the personal level, volunteering with "Janitors for Jesus," to clean up unsafe/unsanitary homes for senior citizens. 

Madison believes OUSD schools should be the top schools in the nation. We have the most dedicated teachers, the most involved parents, and the most passionate administrators. What we lack is new bold leadership to match.  And that's why she is asking for your vote for OUSD School Board.
