Situation at Svatovo.

You will shortly start getting reports of news that the Russian authorities have ordered the evacuation of civilians from Svatovo.

These reports are unconfirmed, but cannot be said to be not credible. Accordingly, confirmation may come in due time.

I trust that this is the preliminary step from the Russian authorities—who have learned from the experiences of the past month—to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties in the context of the expected difficult defence of Svatovo.

I will once again reiterate the importance of Svatovo for the north LPR with a map and offer my view that the defence of the settlement is critical and should—and will—be done with all the available resources.
