WTF is going on with the UK economy?

Last week the UK had a Black Wednesday déjà vu moment that almost everyone ignored as the UK economy descended into chaos.

Despite a degree in economics and nearly 8 years in Financial Services during my 20's, it's not easy to unpack precisely WHAT is going on, WHY this is all unfolding the way it is and WHO is benefiting from it all.
