BFGC - Sep 25, 2022 Conquering the Flesh

New Testament believers have the ability to defeat temptation and overcome the trials of their life, through the continual infilling of the Holy Spirit. Our carnal nature is at war with our spiritual man, but we do not need to accept defeat, or failure, if we are trusting in the power of God to bring the victory. Disciples of Christ must decide to live righteous and holy before Yehovah and trust in His saving and keeping power to fight on their behalf. Stay in God's Word, spend time every day in prayer, worship Him with an attitude of Praise and Thanksgiving, and the Holy Spirit will fill you with the peace and strength required to overcome the attacks.
