Kris Wimberly launches Black-owned animation studio to change the game

It is apropos that Kris Wimberly is thriving in Hollywood because his personal life is a made-for-TV Tinseltown success story. He started out mopping the floors of the very Disney studio where he is now an animation movie director, artist and storyteller. He and his brother have also founded Studio Smokescreen to create more diversity in animation.
