This replay uses the Japanese version because for some reason when you apply the English patch to the game it breaks the replay system. So now we're stuck with the Japanese version. If your replay desyncs on stage 4 just boot up the Japanese version and start it from a stage other than stage 4.

This wasn't actually that hard. Had to do a few practice runs but I was able to get this one finished pretty easily. The run is definitely pretty sloppy though. I lost a lot of lives in places I should not have. Only thing that got me through the run was a clean stage 5 boss. Kanako definitely was difficult. I lost my previous run by failing to dodge the knives in her second to last non spell 3 times in a row so I made sure to clear there just in case. I nearly lost my rhythm on the final spell multiple times but I managed to pull through. It is a good final spell. I see why it's so iconic. Happy to complete this one.

Also just want to say I do rather like this game. The music is really good plus the banter with the final boss is pretty cool (but you don't get to read it here). I'd place it up there with 7 and 8 for sure.
