I've talked about this before, but if you join the Second Life Birthday group (an official Linden Lab group and it's free) you get one day early access to all the shop and hop events.)
In case you didn't know.. now you do!
Officially this year's Halloween Shop and Hop event opens Oct 6th and runs till Nov 1 2022.

I don't recommend using the Linden Labs release client. The UI is not friendly.
