Drum Making with Ross Hinter, showing the process of crafting a #drum using #rawhide and an #antler.
A long process precedes making a drum, from gathering poles for the frame, cutting a beam to flesh, fleshing the hide, lacing it into a frame, drying it and cutting out of the frame, rehydrating the rawhide by soaking and cutting lacing. This all happens before creating the drum.
