FLYING CARS taking off soon? 🚘 #shorts

Kitty Hawk, founded by Google co-founder Larry Page, is beginning to dissolve its corporation.

Page, who previously worked on Google's self-driving cars and other experimental projects, created Kitty Hawk in 2010 under the name Zee Aero. Page's business partner, Sebastian Thrun, said there will come a time when consumers will be able to request flying cars using an app similar to Lyft or Uber.

Kitty Hawk launched the Flyer, a 20-mile-range flying vehicle, back in 2018. Thrun told CNBC that it might be possible to fly the models commercially in five years or less.
