אפל תצטרך להחליף בקרוב את המטענים שלה במדינות האיחוד האירופי.
הפרלמנט האירופי אישר השבוע תקנות חדשות שלפיהן יהיה סוג אחד בלבד של שקע טעינה לטלפונים סלולריים, לטאבלטים ולמצלמות.
התקנה אמורה להיכנס לתוקף עד שנת 2024. לנוכח ההחלטה, חיבורי USB-C המשמשים מכשירים מבוססי אנדרואיד יהפכו לתקן ברירת המחדל של האיחוד האירופי.
אפל צפויה להיות בין החברות הנפגעות ביותר. אנליסטים אומרים שהתקנה עשויה להשפיע גם על סמסונג ו-Huawei.
