According to whistle blowing NGO Safeguard Defenders, Chinese quasi-police stations have been established throughout the globe and “Chinese authorities claim that from April 2021 to July 2022, 230,000 nationals had been “persuaded to return” to face criminal proceedings in China”. One of the police stations is in New York city, home of many Uyghur and the Shen Yun dance company. The PLA Navy has been caught on satellite imagery conducting amphibious landing exercises using supposedly civilian ferries. Peter Zeihan predicts “The End Of China Has Begun”, citing China’s demographic decline and inability to produce high end semiconductors. Several callers debate how changing demographics do (or don’t) effect our national identity, while others question our lack of restrictions on foreign investment.
