What is the number one thing that you see business owners doing wrong
when they're trying to get leads for their business?
What I see a lot of people do wrong is that they sell too soon. Here's the thing. Most of your leads are going to be cold leads. Otherwise, you know, they already knew them. So when you are attracted to cold leads, you do need to spend the time to get to know them and for them to get to know you.
But what I see a lot, especially in certain places online such as LinkedIn, is that people try to sell and they don't even know you. To me, that's just such a big red flag. If we have a business online, more than likely, we know more than one person that does what we do. And for you to be able to sell to somebody, you need to take the time to build a relationship and nurture that, in order for them to know, like, and trust you so that they will want to buy from you. Because if you're selling and they don't know you, What's the incentive?
