Plenty of people can be turned away from engineering for a variety of factors. Some of these that I include in the video are
1. Not being good at math
2. Not having any experience
3. Not being good with hands

There are reasons why engineering might not be right for you. But it's important to distinguish those from the less important reasons that a lot of people have to deal with.
