What is a Christian?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is both profound and simple. Anyone who hears the call of God and falls under Holy Ghost conviction for sins, and cries out to the Son of God to forgive them and takes Jesus as both Saviour and Lord - becomes a Christian. The differing doctrines & denomination distractions can become hindrances thereafter. Yet, the Bible is unequivocal about a straight and narrow (but Joy filled) walk in His power until the Day of Redemption. For two thousand years, that is what almost all real Christian movements have believed; the easy belief & cotton candy christianity of the modern evangelical churches in the West are a temporary aberration. Book, chapter, and verse of the Bible is the final Authority.
