Emily And I Make the Best Mashed Potatoes

My Grand Daughter Emily asked me to do this video of What she calls "The Best Mashed Potatoes Ever". Creamy, delicious, full of flavor. These truly are the Best Family style Mashed potato's. I say Family style because its easy to make, And Your kids will love them!

Ingredients: Serves 4-5
5 medium size Yukon Gold Potatoes peeled and cut into quarters
3/4 cup Half and Half ( can use light cream)
1 1/2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt. (Taste your food)
Boil potato's till soft ( do the fork test)
drain water and use a masher or ricer to get the lumps out
Add butter, salt, and garlic
using a hand mixer slowly add half and half while mixing to make sure consistency is good.
