Cruel Summer - Ace Of Base - Bass Cover

Last month, temps in Northern California hit records highs. As I was driving to an outdoor gig (in the shade, thankfully), this song popped into my head. Later, as I was scrolling through the different versions of this song, I ran across this Ace Of Base cover. It's in the same key and has the exact same bass line from the original Bananarama version, but had a more modern arrangement.

The Ace Of Base version has a few sections, including the intro, where the bass is not playing. I stuck pretty close to their arrangement.

I'm playing this song on a 5-string 2021 G&L L-2500 bass guitar into a Fender Rumble Stage 800 amp. I recorded the audio from the amp's DI direct to GarageBand and synced the video from a iPhone 12 Pro Max forward facing camera.
