Old Rusty Hand Drill [ RESTORATION ] A Step-by-step

Hey friends! In this video I restored an very rusty Hand Drill! I found this piece in a flea market, so it was full of grease and dirt. After disassembling every part, I restored every part step by step: I started with rust removal the main body, While removing the rust them, the original color of gears showed up: it was red. So i cleaned and polished the metal and repainted them with red paint. And
doing some metal works like filing and sanding, after that I put on some body filler and primer, then I painted it in RAL 9005 Deep Black. Some smaller parts were hot blued, the shafts got just cleaned because of their fitment. Last step was repairing the handles.The drill chuck at the end was hot blued, too much effort to Repair The drill chuck ;-) Now this beauty works wonderful again.
