Rifle Foundations - Indexing the Rifle

Indexing the rifle is provably the most important rifle skill. No that’s not a typo…it is the most important skill and I think it can be proven.

Precisely indexing the rifle is often overlooked or over shadowed under a minutia laden argument about defining start positions.

Training the index can be done dry and refined to a level that will pay dividends during live fire. Focus on stopping the dot exactly on your desired POA and be critical of errors in dry fire fixing them as you go.

As a professional gun guy you need to be good at a myriad of skills, be highly proficient at the largest cross section of skills. That should be the goal.
