Training Trigger Speed in Dry Fire

Two things I look at with regards to split times. There is the mechanical aspect of pulling the trigger at speed and the visual aspect (provided your aiming) of the sights telling you it’s time to pull the trigger.
Fast splits don’t mean a lot unless there is an extreme amount of control. That control comes from grip and vision.
This is a basic dry fire drill to isolate splits. Do you train splits in dry fire? How much stock should you put into split times?
