HAVING A SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE AND THANKFUL PRAISE

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!! OMHW! The Eagles won again, and the Phillies have made the NLDS playoffs! Has someone checked to see if Sheol Has frozen over? I'll be honest and say, that my mind is still trying to comprehend all of this, but I'm not as excited as everyone else is, because of how sports has become politicized, and how many of the athletes are becoming activists, which ruins my enjoyment for it. In fact, the only thing I really watch sports wise so to speak, is either tennis, or the WWE. I know that may sound really fatalistic, but it's how I feel right now, but you know what I also realized that God is always in control, and that when I choose to focus on him, and not my problems, the amazing things he does for me just blow my mind!

I was thinking about that fact this morning as I was reading God's Word, and how God continues to remind me, that I can come to Him in prayer with my concerns and fears, and with Thanksgiving for the answers that He's already giving. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, were not only encouraging to my heart, but helping me to realize that whatever I'm going through, that God is in control, and that when I bring my needs before Him, I can come to Him with gratitude and praise for the answers He'll already give. Please read check these questions out for yourself and see what I mean.

What threatens your sense of gratitude?

What I'd like to do with all of you right now everyone, is share some thoughts that God put on my heart concerning this morning’s passage of scripture, and how we can come before the throne of grace, bringing our needs, fears, concerns and every other emotion that we're feeling to almighty God, and when we see those problems, to ask God to grant us a spirit of gratitude and grateful praise, knowing that He’s already solved the problem. As I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to ask you this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges you to bring your needs before God with that attitude of gratitude.

How is God calling you to a “Happy Thanksgiving” as you bring your needs before Him?

I pray that whatever you may be going through right now, whatever problems you're having, concerns, fears, unexpected disaster, and yes trauma that you might be experiencing right now, that you can lay them at the feet of the savior, and trust in His sovereignty. I above all pray, that when you see problems occurring in your life, or even in this world today, that you ask God to with spirit to grant you with a spirit of gratitude and grateful praise for the solutions He will give, Knowing that God has your back, and always will!
