Why does a Protestant from Northern Ireland wear a Star of David? I dated a woman back in the early 2000's who was Jewish and this is that story...

I have to add that the woman depicted in this story is not the bad guy - I am the bad guy. She put up with eight years of deployments during the Global War on Terror and she just wanted me to pick her for once. I left the wire because of my own selfishness.
