My goodness i had fun writing this song!!! And even more fun playing it with my amazingly talented friend Gloria! What a reunion....16 years since we last shared a stage and 3 years since the last time i'd had the pleasure of seeing her.

I hope you love this song....i must say....it's the most fun song i've ever written and if it's not too bold to say....i love it!! Looking forward to putting it on my upcoming "If You Love Trucks" album.....have to apply for some grants first so it will take a bit....but i'll be sure to let you all know when i'm recording!

He picked me up in his pickup truck and he picked me up
And put me in the passengers seat.
He hopped in beside me into the drivers seat,
And he revved his big ol engine for me.

We went mud boggin out in the country,
His truck got as stuck as could be.
It made me scream, I was wearin good jeans!
And he got us stuck in the mud hole.

He winched us out of the mud hole with the help of a tree,
And he got real muddy for me.
Then in the box of the truck we danced so star struck

Before we retired we lit us a fire,

And we got the hell out of there!
