Simon Jefferies is one of my best childhood friends growing up in Canada. At a very early age Simon was quite resolute about his support of Conservatism in Canada, which is a bit odd for a kid. Even though I didn't agree with his politics at the time, we always stayed friends and I enjoyed having debates that challenged each others' thinking. Now Simon is a political superstar in Canada as a major player in successful campaigns in Canada such as Doug Ford's elections as Premier of Ontario. He is now a SVP at a major political consulting firm in Toronto, and continues to support Canada's Conservatives in multiple capacities.
