This Southern Illinois drought has DESTROYED most all of my fall food plots! But today, Oct 11, 2022 I am taking another run at it! Since it's been so hot and dry lately, I figured I'd give a couple of RE plants of my fall food plots a shot again. The difference this time? At least for one of my larger plots, is that I have my water pump set up drawing water from out big pond so that I can water it every day! Stay tuned in the next few weeks to see how it goes! On today's Kapper Outdoors farm vlog I will break out my Kioti RX7320 and my 7' HD tiller to RE till, and RE plant a large brassica food plot, as well as using a mix of winter grains, such as oats, winter wheat, winter rye and a couple of other's mixed in. Hope you check back in after a few weeks to see if/how it worked! But THIS time I already have my high volume water pump set up and ready to go so that I can water it every day! Even twice a day!
