Modern Women are putting little to no effort to find a husband

Modern women, as a whole, have decided that they do not need a husband to survive. They figure that they are far too independent to be bothered with a "useless ball and chain" (as they say). Most modern women are under the impression that they don't need men in their lives. In reality, the stories of modern women having relationships last longer than normal marriages is purely anecdotal at best. Most of these relationships fail miserably whether it's after years or after months of "modern dating". The fact is, the ONLY purpose in having children at this point is because they provide company when your parents pass away so you can inherit what little savings they have. That's IT! I will agree that there will be mothers who seek to marry for resources but those are few and far in between. The problem is that the majority of women who enter into relationships do so for a very short period of time. What we are seeing now are women who have been in and out of relationships since their early 20s and they have no idea how to be truly happy with just one man. They don't know what it's like to have a "normal relationship" because they've never experienced it.
