Velma Creator Doesn't Care About Scooby-Doo Fans

Mindy Kaling ‘Velma’ trailer disliked over 200k times on YouTube and she doesn't care. She has made it very clear from her statements and them from the trailer itself how she feels about any fans who will have critiques over her changes. Those included removing Scooby-Doo, changing Shaggy's name, and clearly doing a self insert directly onto the face of Velma. Why do they do this? Will it ever stop? How bad is the trailer?
