Today we are discussing a pocket-sized solar power generator for popular QRP radios like the Lab599 TX500. Icom IC-705, Elecraft KX2, KX3, and Yaesu FT-818. We will look at how to size your solar panel for off-grid ham radio, build a suitable capacity LiFePO4 battery pack, and choose the right solar panels for portable ham radio.
