Try this: Stand in front of a mirror each morning for one minute, look yourself directly in the eye, and listen to what the man or woman in the mirror says to you. It will make you uncomfortable. But it works. Your eyes will tell you something every single day if you listen.

What type of things will your eyes say to you? Things like… You know what you need to do. It’s time for something new. Take a walk today. If you don’t ask, you’ll never know. This has to stop. Today is going to be a great day, try to enjoy it. Start paying attention to your needs. Go and see your doctor. You won’t feel good about yourself if you do that. You need some time off. A true friend would never treat you that way. Call your mom. Do something to make someone else’s day today. Take a risk. Run. Swim. Dance. Sing. Hope. Love. Dream.

Listen to what the man or woman in the mirror is saying to you. It will change your life."
